According to the official announcement from Clayton County, the work began last Friday and is scheduled to continue through tomorrow. During this period, drivers can expect detours and delays. On the southbound side between University Avenue and I-285, two right lanes remain closed. Northbound lanes are also impacted, with three right lanes shut down between I-285 and University Avenue. Single-lane closures are in place on several on- and off-ramps as well.
