
Early Thursday morning, a shooting on Chicago's Far South Side near the Alged Gardens left four people injured, including three men and one woman. According to WGN-TV, police were called to the 600 block of East 133rd Street just after 3:15 a.m. upon reports of the incident, where they found a group of individuals subjected to a sudden burst of gunfire.
The victims, identified as two men aged 21 and 31, were shot and transported in critical condition, a 29-year-old man was also shot but self-transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center where his condition was labelled as serious; the 29-year-old woman self-transported in stable condition to the same facility, as reported by ABC 7 Chicago. Additional information disclosed by ABC 7 Chicago revealed the extent of the injuries suffered: the youngest male victim was wounded in the arm and thigh, a second man received multiple gunshot wounds, while the woman sustained an arm injury, and the other male victim, also 29, was shot in the shoulder.
