Discovery Global Experiences, is gearing up to launch Game of Thrones™: The Exhibition this fall. According to an official announcement, the doors swing open on October 4, setting the scene for a dive into the intricacies of Westeros that fans haven't seen before. The exhibit is pegged as a deep dive into HBO's fantasy saga, providing an up-close gander at original costumes, props, and a slice of the creative pie that pieced together the fictional universe.
With over sixty original costumes on display, the exhibition is designed as homage to the unseen heroes of the series – the creators. "This exhibition is more than a tribute to the world of Game of Thrones, it’s a celebration of the fandom that kept the story alive," Kendall Quirk, Director of Exhibitions, told the City of Arlington. Key highlights include the intricate dragon-scale gowns of Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow's rugged Night's Watch kit.
