Seventeen-year-old Patrick was charged with murdering her mother and stepfather, who were found dead in their Carrollton, Georgia home on February 20. The arrest, announced on July 8 by the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, came after Patrick herself discovered the bodies and called 911, according to officials.
In an investigation that seems blurred by Patrick’s social media activities, numerous TikTok influencers came forward stating that a user named "Sarah Grace" contacted them, seeking to bring attention to the unsolved double homicide, reported FOX 5 Atlanta. One influencer, known as "Allegedly Reportedly", shared screenshots where "Sarah Grace" called the murder of her parents a potentially "really big hit" for media coverage, a comment now perceived as peculiar given her recent arrest. Despite the outreach, PEOPLE notes the actual account has since been deleted, and it remains unconfirmed whether it belonged to Patrick herself.
Carroll County Communications Director Ashley Hulsey confirmed Patrick's engagement with TikTok posts about the murder, adding that investigators have "mountains of evidence" in the case, information obtained by FOX News Digital. The digital breadcrumbs left by Patrick include comments under speculative videos regarding the crime, with one reply stating, "Most definitely was since they knew the house."
Despite the growing case against her, Patrick’s grandfather, Dennis Nolan, stood by her innocence in a statement obtained by FOX 5 Atlanta. Questioning the strength of the evidence, he emphasized that nothing as of yet puts the gun in Patrick's hand.
