Around 8 PM yesterday, police and paramedics responded to Santa Teresa Boulevard after a motorcycle hit a pedestrian. They found a 53-year-old motorcyclist with minor injuries and a 61-year-old pedestrian with severe injuries. The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital but did not survive, according to the Gilroy Police Department.
Gilroy Police are investigating what led to the crash. They ask anyone who saw the collision or has video to come forward and help piece together what happened.
