According to a recent community survey published by the City of Goodyear, 90% of respondents said they would recommend the city as a place to live. Mayor Joe Pizzillo responded to the results, stating, “I appreciate everyone who took the time to fill out our community survey... Your feedback gives us a clear direction moving forward, and I’m grateful for your honesty and engagement.”

A recent survey conducted by the National Research Center at Polco found that 95% of Goodyear residents feel safe in their neighborhoods. Additionally, 87% rated Goodyear as a good or excellent place to raise children and gave similar ratings for overall quality of life. Recreational facilities also received high marks, with 84% rating their quality positively.

Despite high satisfaction ratings in many areas, residents identified several concerns in the survey, including air quality, historic preservation, and the need for better management of residential and commercial growth. Respondents also cited traffic flow and public transportation as areas requiring improvement.

City officials have stated that they plan to use the survey results to guide future improvements. The survey is intended to help align municipal priorities with resident concerns and support more responsive local governance.
