The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, confirmed that Sawyer was located early Thursday morning after he managed to find his car on East Still Creek Road and drove himself back home. The sight that met his neighbors was a man visibly marked by his ordeal – "tired, cold, dirty, and worn out," as reported by official statements. With confirmed identification by Gresham Police, he was quickly taken to a local hospital to receive the necessary medical attention.
Ralph Sawyer was reported missing after failing to return from a mountain biking trip in Mount Hood National Forest.
