The Wright County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating an incident of gunfire on Highway 101 in Otsego, which took place on Thursday night. According to a report by the sheriff's office, the event unfolded around 10:20 p.m. when a report came in about a possible discharge of a firearm from one vehicle towards another. The deputies arrived on the scene and confirmed that the reporter's vehicle had been hit by gunfire twice.
No injuries were reported as no persons required medical attention following the event. The suspect vehicle, described as a dark colored sedan with tinted windows, managed to evade immediate capture and remains at large. The Minnesota State Patrol and Sherburne County Sheriff's Office were also involved in responding to the incident. The lack of an arrest so far has not been for want of trying; the authorities are continuing with their investigation and are now looking for assistance from the public.
