Houston's law enforcement is currently on the hunt for two individuals with histories of theft following an incident at a local pawn shop. According to a statement from Constable Mark Herman's Office, the alleged theft occurred at a pawn shop on the 5800 block of FM 1960 Road W. The two suspects reportedly swiped a tablet PC and were later identified by Constable Detectives as Robert Hingle and Warren Hammond, both of whom have had brushes with the law for similar offenses.

Hingle, who was already wanted on an open theft warrant, now faces a misdemeanor Theft charge. Hammond, with multiple prior theft convictions, is facing a State Jail Felony Theft/Prior Convictions charge. In light of these charges, both individuals have found themselves targets of a law enforcement search tasked with bringing them into custody. "This agency takes a firm stance against Theft and works diligently to recover property losses for our citizens," Constable Mark Herman said in a statement made by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 Facebook page.

The Harris County District Attorney's Office has accepted the charges against both suspects, solidifying the law's pursuit against property crime in the Houston area. In an effort to bolster community engagement and awareness, the constable's office has also promoted their mobile app "C4 NOW," which is designed to keep residents up to date on crime, arrests, and safety tips.
