
Early morning on Wednesday, residents of Huntington Apartments were abruptly roused by the threat of a fire. First responders were called to 5849 73rd Ave., where a small blaze had ignited in a ground-floor unit, perilously close to a window. According to a fire notification, the fire department swiftly tackled the situation upon their arrival at approximately 5:40 a.m.
The local fire departments, aided by Osseo and Plymouth units, managed to quickly bring the fire under control, effectively preventing any widespread damage or personal injury. To ensure the safety of the two apartment dwellers, the Red Cross was brought in to provide necessary assistance. Despite the potential danger, this early morning scare narrowly avoided escalating into a larger tragedy.
