This figure surpasses the previous record of 15,900 attendees reached during the 2018 38 Special concert and further cements the series' reputation for popular outdoor events in the region.
Woodstock's Office of Economic Development, in collaboration with Placer.ai, a location analytics platform, confirmed the record-breaking statistics. Placer.ai's foot traffic data not only underscores the success of events like this but also aids the city in optimizing marketing strategies, enhancing operations, and provides local businesses with valuable insights on site selection and consumer behavior. In a statement obtained by the City of Woodstock, Mayor Michael Caldwell boasted about the city's prowess in event production, saying, “Georgia's 20th largest city doesn't miss a party. The concerts of Woodstock Summer Concert Series are at the top the community's list of favorites year over year.”
While Josh Turner's performance has set this year's series apart, there remains much anticipation for the upcoming concerts set to close the 2025 season. Sponsored by Carriage Kia of Woodstock, the series will continue with an August 9 show by 10,000 Maniacs, and on September 13, Pink Floyd tribute band Interstellar Echoes will conclude the series.
