Starting tomorrow, Kennesaw residents will have a more convenient way to report potholes, damaged street signs, and other non-emergency issues with the launch of a new digital tool called Kennesaw 311. Accessible through the city’s website and the official City of Kennesaw mobile app, the system is designed to streamline the reporting process and improve response times.

According to an announcement on the city's website, the CivicPlus 311 CRM solution, or SeeClickFix, is set to revolutionize the way city services are requested. To quickly submit and track service requests, residents are required to create an account. Once logged in, they can report diverse concerns ranging from litter and clogged storm drains to park maintenance issues. Kennesaw 311 aims not only to simplify the submission process but also to keep residents in the loop with real-time updates on the status of their requests.

In a statement obtained by the city's press release, Mayor Derek Easterling touted the platform's benefits. "Kennesaw 311 is another step forward in improving service delivery and access for our community," he said. "This platform empowers residents to report and track requests conveniently while enabling our teams to respond quickly and efficiently." The system is designed to bolster communication between the city staff and residents, ensuring that public concerns are addressed promptly.

The new service platform will manage all submissions through a single system, whether they come in via the website, app, or phone, helping to potentially streamline operations. While Kennesaw 311 handles issues related to Public Works and Parks & Recreation, it's important to note that Code Enforcement matters involving private property will still need to be reported to the Code Enforcement Division of Building Services. This distinction aims to more efficiently direct residents to the proper channels for their specific concerns.

For additional information on Kennesaw 311 or to get started with the platform on its launch date, residents can visit www.kennesaw-ga.gov or download the City of Kennesaw app available on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
