The search for a suspect who fled the scene of a vehicular crash at a Tennessee bank continues, with authorities urging the public to remain cautious. The Macon County Sheriff's Office and the Lafayette Police Department are on the lookout for 26-year-old Brandon Arian Ras-Devries, after he reportedly crashed a black pickup truck into a pillar at an ATM lane outside Citizens Bank on Scottsville Road, as reported by WSMV.
Following the incident, a security image was released by Lafayette PD revealing Ras-Devries, shirtless with a tattoo visible on his chest. He stands at roughly 6′2″ and was last seen wearing black pants, according to FOX 17. The suspect, who is believed to be armed with several weapons found in the wrecked truck, has several felony warrants out of Michigan and should be considered dangerous.
Macon County deputies were tipped off about a possible sighting of the suspect near Measure Up, a custom shirt retailer on Freeman Street, but so far efforts to locate him have been unsuccessful. The sheriff’s office warned that he will now face charges in Macon County due to the recent events.
In addition to local efforts, the Lafayette Police Department issued a social media advisory stating, "Please BOLO for a white male with a tattoo on his chest. The subject ran on foot from a wreck at Citizens Bank on Scottsville Road. If you see this subject please call the Lafayette Police dept or 911. Do not approach," the department's Facebook page advises.
