During the execution of the search warrant at 809 North C Street, April Shaver Moore, the probe's target, was present amid methamphetamine, various prescription pills not accompanied by prescriptions, and gear associated with drug dealing. Christopher Lee, also from Lenoir City, was arrested along with Moore, and both are now facing charges. The raid, casting a spotlight on the individuals, is part of the broader effort by the task force to stamp out drug activity.
The 9th Judicial Drug Task Force's promise was reiterated in their statement: "If you're distributing drugs in the 9th Judicial District—we will see you soon."
