Wetland Trail walking bridge at Line Creek Nature Area is open again. After being closed for maintenance, the trail is ready for hikers to enjoy the outdoors. While the Wetland Trail has welcomed back its sojourners, those frequenting Line Creek won't be crossing the "Creek Trail" bridge just yet. As it was put by the City of Peachtree City officials, "This closure is necessary to ensure the safety of all trail users as we carry out essential maintenance to restore the bridge and improve long-term accessibility."
Local authorities are advocating for patrons to venture along the alternative routes Line Creek provides during this interim. They express gratitude for the community's patience and adaptability as the bridge receives the care required to welcome pedestrians back safely, as reported by the City of Peachtree City.
Updates on the ongoing project will regularly be communicated via the City of Peachtree City social media channels and the weekly newsletter, "The Slice." Those looking for more immediate or detailed information have been invited to reach out directly to the Recreation and Special Events Department at (770) 631-2525.
