The MBTA Transit Police are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying individuals involved in an assault at the Chinatown Station earlier this month. According to a post made by the MBTA Transit Police on social media yesterday, an adult male in a wheelchair was harassed and subsequently kicked by unnamed suspects, an attack that resulted in him tumbling down a set of stairs on June 7 at around 8:30 p.m. The authorities are treating the use of a "shod foot" as a dangerous weapon in this case.

The incident, which has spurred both shock and outrage amongst local communities, has led officials to turn to the community in hopes of locating the perpetrators. The Transit Police's Criminal Investigations Unit (CIU) is seeking any information that may lead to the identification and apprehension of the individuals depicted in surveillance footage from the station.
