The victim, a male pedestrian whose name has not been released pending family notification, was discovered with injuries that proved fatal and the vehicle involved, described as a dark colored 2020-2021 Honda Civic, was last seen heading northbound on Sycamore View Road from Shelby Oaks Drive, the car will have front, hood, and windshield damage due to the impact.
