The incident, taking place at 11:08 p.m. on July 12, involved one of the perpetrators brandishing a black handgun, and the other, a brown and black sawed-off shotgun.
The report details how the suspects used the threat of their firearms to compel the restaurant workers to the front register, demanding the day's takings - an order given at gunpoint, which underlines the harrowing nature of the crime the employees had to endure one of the armed men instructed an employee to open a plastic bag while his accomplice emptied the register, before both suspects fled through the same entry they initially breached.
Descriptions of the suspects have been released by the authorities: the first, a medium-complexion Black male of a medium-large build, standing approximately 6 feet to 6 feet 3 inches tall, who covered his face with a black shirt, donned a white t-shirt, black sweatpants, and a pair of white and blue Jordan 13 sneakers; the second suspect, a dark-complexion Black male of a slim to medium build, measuring around 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 10 inches, concealed his identity similarly with a black and white baseball cap and shirt, also sporting a white t-shirt, gray sweatpants, and white and black Jordan 11 sneakers.
