Memphis Police report that at approximately 5:15 a.m., three individuals were involved in the forceful entry and theft at the establishment, making off with a cash register full of an unknown sum of money. The incident has raised concerns about safety and security measures in the area.
The suspects were captured by surveillance footage as they executed their theft, the Memphis Police Department released a detailed description of the men: the first suspect, a Black male, carried a distinctive yellow crowbar, wearing a blue knit cap and a yellow and blue shirt that obscured his face with a blue long-sleeved shirt, dark pants, and blue sneakers; his accomplices were similarly clad in hoodies and face coverings, with distinctive clothing items like a blue bandana and jeans with a prominent hole in the left knee which stands out in the grainy video footage, the suspects were seen fleeing the scene in a nondescript black sedan compounding the frustration of law enforcement as they scour for leads.
Officials are urging anyone with knowledge of the crime to come forward, offering anonymity and potentially a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.
