A burglary on Thrift Avenue has the Memphis Police Department seeking the public's aid in capturing the perpetrators. The incident, occurring on July 15, involved the theft of several tools, lawn equipment, and two minibikes from a property at 1872 Thrift Avenue. According to the Memphis Police Department, it was around 3:42 p.m. when officers were dispatched to the scene after two unknown Black male suspects reportedly forced entry into a shed.
The investigation revealed that one of the stolen minibikes was later recovered, but details surrounding its recovery remain sparse. The Memphis Police Department, through the information to publicly disseminate, has made a call for anyone with knowledge of the event to come forward. "Anyone with information about this incident should call Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH," urged the police statement.
Police have not yet released descriptions of the suspects or disclosed the value of the stolen items. The investigation remains ongoing as officers continue to review evidence in an effort to identify those responsible for the break-in.
