In a brazen act of theft, a Dodge Challenger was reported stolen from the 2200 block of Aberdeen Avenue on Sunday, according to the Memphis Police Department. Surveillance footage captured a group of males, who were armed with handguns, pushing the car out of a resident's driveway. The suspects did not stop there as they orchestrated their escape with a stolen red Corvette, bearing Mississippi license plate MHQ856, and a dark green Camaro, which they used to push the stolen Challenger from the scene. Memphis Police’s official website reported that the Challenger has since been recovered.
The Memphis Police are now seeking the public's assistance to apprehend the individuals involved. Law enforcement encourages any witnesses or those with information to come forward, believing that tips could be vital to solving this case. The crime occurred during the dead of night, under the cloak of darkness, but with the aid of community members, the hope is that these car thieves will be brought to justice.
