The Memphis Police Department is urgently seeking information about Alia Shempert, a 14-year-old girl reported missing after she was last seen entering a black Tesla in the Berclair neighborhood. According to WREG, Shempert disappeared from the 4300 block of Jamaica Drive around 4:25 p.m. yesterday.
An alert was issued, with the Memphis Police Department describing her as about 5’2” tall, weighing 160lbs, with brown hair and eyes. As per Local Memphis, a City Watch was put into effect shortly after her disappearance. She was observed getting into the car with an unknown white or Hispanic male before the vehicle headed east out of the neighborhood.
Details concerning her last seen attire include a black shirt, black pants, and pink Puma slippers—an identifying combination that may aid the public in recognizing her. FOX13 Memphis echoed these details in their own report, stressing the police’s call for any eyewitnesses or individuals with information to come forward.
