Drivers on Interstate 44 near Route 50 should expect nighttime lane closures next week for road maintenance. From Monday to Thursday, one lane will be closed each night from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., according to MoDOT.
The current focus is on the eastbound side of the road, where MoDOT crews are making concrete repairs, mostly in the right lane. However, repairs may also take place in the left lane if needed. At least one lane will remain open during the work.
Drivers should expect some delays, especially at night, and are encouraged to plan accordingly. MoDOT is working to improve road conditions and asks for the public’s patience during the repairs.
