Residents of Morrison County should mark their calendars for a series of county meetings slated for this week. The Morrison County Board of Commissioners announced its schedule, inviting community participation and promising a full slate of discussions on local planning, community development, and infrastructure.
According to a public notice published on July 7th, the week commenced with a planning session early on July 8 at 8:30 am in the County Board Room at the Government Center. A midday Community Development Meeting followed at Pine Country Bank, providing another venue for civic engagement. The evening rounded out with the Planning Commission/Board of Adjustment convening back in the County Board Room.
The schedule continues on July 9 with a Department Head Meeting at 8:30 am, which will likely address internal operations and county matters. A Trails Meeting has been set for July 10 at 6:30 pm at City Hall, which offers a chance to discuss green space and outdoor recreation – topics of considerable interest in the county.
The county has taken steps to ensure accessibility for all who wish to attend these meetings. Individuals requiring accommodations should call the given number at least 48 hours in advance. This approach reflects the county’s commitment to inclusivity and ensuring that the local governance process remains open and accessible to every resident of Morrison County.
