NOPD has put out a call for public assistance in tracking down Leonard Reynolds, a Black male born September 15, 1973, and owner of a trailer that has been implicated in the incident.
The occurrence in question unfolded on June 29, when a white Dodge 1500 pickup truck, toting a black trailer, was spotted at the intersection of Dahlia Walk and Edge Street. As per NOPD News, "Multiple Black male suspects with dreadlocks-type hair styles exited the pickup and dumped numerous tires onto the ground before fleeing." Notably, the truck and trailer are registered to a New Orleans address belonging to Reynolds.
This latest development is part of a broader struggle within New Orleans to handle the persistent problem of illegal dumping. Such acts not only blight neighborhoods but also pose significant environmental hazards. NOPD is urging anyone with information on the whereabouts of Reynolds or the event itself to come forward and assist in their ongoing efforts to hold those responsible accountable.
