The New Orleans Police Department is actively seeking assistance from the public to locate a theft suspect identified as Thomas Lewis, Jr. As per the NOPD's recent solicitation of community aid, the individual is wanted for stealing property from a residence on the 1000 block of Flanders Street.
Described as a Black male, born on December 8, 1976, Lewis Jr. is approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs around 171 pounds. On the late afternoon of June 25, he was captured on security footage to allegedly commit the theft. The NOPD is hoping that the public might hold information that could lead to swiftly bring him into custody.
The incident occurred at around 3:21 p.m., and the authorities believe the evidence of the surveillance video is critical in their efforts to apprehend Lewis Jr. The NOPD has circulated a photo of the suspect and encourages anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward.
