
Early morning commutes near Gilroy were disrupted when a train collided with a semi-truck at the intersection of Masten and Fitzgerald avenues. The Santa Clara County Fire Department reported the incident occurred at 7:03 AM. Upon their arrival, it was evident that the train had struck the front of the semi. In a stroke of fortune, no major injuries were reported, according to Santa Clara County Fire's social media update.

The accident involved eighteen passengers and two crew members, all of whom were safely transferred to an alternate mode of transport while the cleanup ensued.
