Extra caution is recommended for vulnerable groups, including older adults, young children, and individuals with health conditions that can be affected by extreme heat. The NWS forecasts Friday to be "Sunny and hot, with a high near 97," indicating continued high temperatures for the area.
The upcoming weekend is expected to maintain the current weather pattern, with mostly clear evening skies allowing for nighttime visibility under warm conditions. Winds may gust up to 21 mph, providing limited relief from the ongoing heat. According to the NWS, Saturday night will be mostly clear, with temperatures dipping to around 78 degrees.
