A grim scene unfolded in northwest Oklahoma City over the weekend as a man confessed to the stabbing death of his girlfriend, according to local authorities. The Oklahoma City Police Department received a distressing call around 1 a.m. yesterday from a man who claimed he had stabbed his girlfriend within their home located at the intersection of Roff Avenue and Northwest 50th Street. Upon law enforcement’s arrival, they discovered a woman deceased, as reported by KOCO.
Further investigations by police identified the victim as 36-year-old Thanh Thi Yen To. The suspect, Kyle Guthrie—also 36 years old—was found at the scene, arrested, and is now held on a first-degree murder complaint. The disturbing details of the incident surfaced as News9 detailed Guthrie's connection to the late To, indicating a relationship between the killer and his victim.
