
The Pleasant Hill Police Department is searching for a suspect connected to a recent garage bicycle theft. In a request for public assistance posted on their Facebook page, the department released a photo of a person of interest seen riding the stolen yellow bike.
"A couple of days ago this subject entered an open garage in the North Sherman Acres neighborhood, and then rode away on this very identifiable yellow bike," states the social media post from the Pleasant Hill Police Department. Due to the clarity of the image and the distinct color of the bicycle in question, the authorities are hopeful that community members will be able to aid them in their investigation.
Residents of the area who know about the incident or the individual's whereabouts are encouraged to contact the Pleasant Hill Police. The department has asked those who can provide information to call 925-288-4600 and reference case number 25-1912.
