The Pleasanton Police Department has recently reported the arrest of two young individuals linked to a spate of ATM robberies in the local area. The suspects, aged 12 and 17, both hail from Livermore and were apprehended following diligent investigative work by the department's detectives. According to the Pleasanton Police Department's Facebook post, the suspects engaged in theft using varying getaway vehicles to escape the scene of their crimes.
In each reported robbery, the young suspects, who remain unnamed due to their status as minors, employed intimidation tactics threatening victims into surrendering their cash. Logged at juvenile hall, the two are facing charges of first-degree robbery.
Amidst the ongoing investigation, an unserialized firearm was found in possession of the 12-year-old suspect during the arrest.
