In a startling reversal of allegiance, the once-fervent supporter of Donald Trump known for his QAnon Shaman persona, Jacob Chansley, has publicly denounced the former president with vehement online posts, one of which was captured by Phoenix New Times before its deletion; Chansley labeled Trump "a fraud" and "a stupid piece of shit," making reference to unfulfilled promises concerning the release of Jeffrey Epstein files.

Chansley, according to a report by The New Republic, attacked Trump in a series of impassioned social media posts that also targeted Israel and accused Trump of reneging on his pledge to unearth files pertaining to the Epstein case which has seemingly caused a rift among the QAnon supporter base who once believed Trump would dismantle a covert group of Satan-worshipping pedophiles, but now Trump has dismissed these supporters as “stupid,” “naive,” and “foolish,” also further complicating their relationship has the president accused Democrats of fabricating the Epstein saga, which does not align with Trump's well-documented history that includes reported trips on Epstein's "Lolita Express" and former comments praising Epstein.

In response to a request for comment, Chansley had the chutzpah to demand compensation, stating, "Sure,” he wrote to Phoenix New Times. “I charge $555 per hour. Minimum of 1 hour," an offer that New Times declined given their policy against paying for interviews; further insight into Chansley's grievances or the context of his tweets remained elusive as he did not follow up with additional details despite his claim that "You have no idea what is going on behind the scenes & and you wouldn’t believe me even if I told you."

The turnaround from Chansley comes just months after being pardoned by Trump, a gesture that seems long forgotten as Chansley no longer sees Trump as his president, despite once expressing gratitude for the clemency, Chansley's fall from MAGA grace has been noted by many including his attempt at a political career which ended in failure to secure enough signatures to run for Congress in Arizona as reported by Phoenix New Times, and now with incendiary online rhetoric, the disconnect appears complete as Chansley positions himself against the man who once commanded his unwavering support.
