Controversial rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine, whose legal name is Daniel Hernandez, found himself at the center of yet another disturbance after being ejected from a nightclub in Hialeah. The altercation took place yesterday morning at Playpen 2, located at 3890 NW 36th Street. According to NBC Miami, Hialeah Police were called to the scene following reports of a conflict.
Both men, involved in the altercation, were Tekashi and another patron, who found themselves in handcuffs but were eventually released on the spot by police. It was observed that limited information was provided by everyone involved, including the nightclub staff, which led to this outcome, CiberCuba notes. A video posted by Only In Dade, capturing the incident, went viral, showing the artist both in handcuffs and being released by officers.
This latest incident adds to Tekashi’s string of legal and personal troubles. Earlier this year, he filed a lawsuit against the gym chain LA Fitness for $1 million in damages. According to the rapper, the fitness establishment failed to provide him with protection during an attack at one of their locations in Palm Beach County. On March 21, 2023, Tekashi sustained multiple injuries after being attacked by three men, including a high-ranking member of the Latin Kings gang, who were subsequently arrested, as per NBC Miami.
In recent years, Tekashi 6ix9ine has frequently found himself embroiled in controversies, from public provocations to physical confrontations. Despite having his house raided where weapons and drugs were confiscated, no direct evidence was found linking Tekashi to the materials seized. As captured in viral videos and reported by CiberCuba, his personal life has also been tumultuous with his relationship with Hallel Génesis appearing to be in crisis, with both unfollowing each other and deleting shared images on Instagram.
Although the incidents at Playpen 2 and LA Fitness have left the rapper entangled in both physical confrontations and legal troubles, authorities have not ruled out the possibility of reopening the nightclub case should new evidence emerge. For now, Tekashi 6ix9ine remains free.
