The streets of Roxbury are set to light up with more than just streetlights on the evening of Wednesday. The Boston Police Department's District B-2 is organizing a Flashlight Walk, an event that encourages residents to actively engage in their community's safety by taking a stroll alongside local law enforcement.
According to an announcement posted on the Boston Police Department's website, the Flashlight Walk aims to foster a sense of unity among residents and officers. The event, set to start at 7:00 P.M., will begin at the Alice Taylor Apartments at 250 Ruggles Street, Roxbury, MA 02120. Participants are encouraged to bring their own flashlights, though the glow of camaraderie might just be all the illumination they need.
The Boston Police Department is inviting community members to participate in an upcoming Flashlight Walk. The event does not require an RSVP and is open to the public. Participants can join by arriving at the designated meeting location at the scheduled time.
