San José Police have made an arrest concerning a case of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) downloading, it emerged this week. In a joint operation between the San José Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, 48-year-old San José resident Adrian Walter was identified as a suspect and was subsequently apprehended earlier this month.
Several distressing discoveries punctuated the investigation as detectives sifted through the digital evidence. According to details released on the San José Police Department's website, they found Walter, who serves an ill-suited role as a master trainer at a local martial arts school, to have CSAM and also potentially engaged in inappropriate online communications with underage females.
Following the trail that began in March of 2025, detectives' efforts culminated last Wednesday when Walter was arrested in San José. Walter was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail on charges related to possession of child sexual abuse material.
While this case moves through the justice system, officials have emphasized the importance of community involvement. Anyone with information about the case or other potential victims is urged to contact Detective Simonini at [email protected] or by calling 408-277-4102.
