The San Jose Police Department's Neighborhood Quality of Life (NQL) unit has been busy this week, ensuring that felony crime comes with consequences in Columbus Park. According to a social media post from the department, officers conducted a follow-up earlier this week targeting a suspect wanted for a violent robbery and violation of a court order. This individual, found wearing a shirt with a "questionable message," attempted to flee but was captured without further incident.
These suspects really thought they could do whatever they want! This week our Officers in the Neighborhood Quality of Life (NQL) Unit arrested a couple of suspects who were wanted for felony crimes.

The NQL unit continued to patrol the area rigorously, and their persistence paid off yet again. Officers, presumably looking to rectify a situation involving vandalized sports equipment storage quickly, discovered an adult male suspect inside the shed. He wasn't rearranging baseball gear, though. Instead, he was found smoking methamphetamine. The man, a parolee-at-large, also had an outstanding felony warrant.
Both men are now booked at the Santa Clara County Main Jail. "Thank you to our NQL Officers for making sure suspects who think that can do whatever they want, find out that's not the case in San Jose!" the San Jose Police Department shared on their post.
