Music lovers and art aficionados mark your calendars: the Blue Stone Arts & Music Festival is returning to Sandy Springs later this year. Scheduled for September 26 and 27, this festival is heading into its third year and has quickly grown in popularity, with expectations of over 15,000 attendees converging to experience the amalgamation of arts, crafts, music, and community, as revealed in an announcement by the City of Sandy Springs.
This year has a special call to artists and designers: the city is looking for someone to capture the festival's spirit with an official poster for 2025. According to the city's announcement, interested parties have until July 25 to submit their proposals. The call isn't just for established names; both emerging and seasoned visual creators are encouraged, to share their interpretations of the festival's essence.
Two stages are set to come alive with nationally known musical acts and the sounds of the community at this fan-favorite event that begins on September 26, from 4:00 – 10:00 p.m., and continues the next day, September 27, from 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Alongside the music, attendees will find over 80 artists and makers in the Artist Market, a dedicated Kids Zone for the younger crowd, and even a VIP area for those seeking an upgraded festival experience.
Further details, including the full lineup of musicians and featured artists, are still to come.
