Sanford Stadium at the University of Georgia is scheduled to host its first major concert since 2013. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, the event is planned for April 25, 2026, marking the return of large-scale music performances to the venue. The concert will also serve as the kickoff for a new series called "Live Between the Hedges," produced in collaboration with Does Entertainment.
Although the headlining act has not yet been announced, the concert is scheduled to take place between two major campus events—the G-Day spring football scrimmage, anticipated in mid-April, and commencement, set for May 8. The last concert held at Sanford Stadium featured country artists Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan, as WSB Radio points out.
Georgia Athletic Director Josh Brooks stated that bringing concerts back to Sanford Stadium has been a long-term effort. With a seating capacity exceeding 90,000, the stadium is equipped to accommodate large-scale music events. The last major concert held there featured performances by artists such as Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett.
