
Seattle police have apprehended a 46-year-old woman in connection with a stabbing at Pratt Park, as reported by SPD Blotter. Officers booked her into the King County Jail on charges of Investigation of Assault (DV) following their swift response to the incident. This comes in the wake of a 35-year-old man being found with severe injuries in the same park.
The initial response, earlier detailed by SPD Blotter, described officers arriving around 1:30 p.m. on the scene where they found the man bleeding from a stab wound to his triceps at East Spruce Street and 23rd Avenue, officers applied a tourniquet but the victim was uncooperative with police and declined further medical care from the Seattle Fire Department and eventually walked away first responders found a trail of blood leading to a tent where the assault likely occurred.
The police are yet to disclose the identity of the arrested woman or the relationship between her and the victim. However, she is currently facing serious charges and will undergo due process to determine her involvement in the violent crime that disrupted the peace of Pratt Park.
