Last Saturday, a group of seven teenagers reportedly entered the Grand Ridge Country Club in Luling without authorization and caused significant property damage. According to a social media post by the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office, the individuals drove two stolen golf carts across the course. Additionally, they are alleged to have tampered with a tractor, damaging its wiring.
The incident left deep tire ruts across the golf course. The juveniles, ages 13 to 17, now face multiple charges. The Sheriff's Office noted that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Through assistance from the community, investigators identified and located the individuals involved. All are reported to be local residents. The arrests followed an investigation led by the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office.
One of the individuals, 17-year-old Hunter Graffia of Destrehan, was booked at the Nelson Coleman Correctional Center. He faces charges of misdemeanor criminal damage, felony criminal damage, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, principal to unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and contributing to the delinquency of minors.
