The City of Socorro, Texas, has extended an invitation to animal lovers near and far, calling for assistance in a noble cause. In an announcement made through their official Facebook page, they introduced a family of dogs, a mother and her four Border Collie mix puppies, that were found abandoned in a vacant lot close to the Maxine area. The animals are now in the care of the City of Socorro's Animal Control Services Department and are looking for homes that will provide the love and care they deserve.
This furry family of five consists of the mother, two black male puppies, and two black-and-white female puppies. The canines have experienced what seems to be the harshness of human neglect. However, thanks to the local animal control department, they've been given a second chance at life. According to the City of Socorro, "The City of Socorro’s Animal Control Services Department is happy to share that this little family is now available for fostering or adoption!" Reinforcing their commitment to these animals, they are offering assistance with vaccines and microchipping for potential adopters or foster parents.
