The Somerville Police Department has issued an alert for a missing teenager, Andrew Singleton, who was last seen nearly two weeks ago. According to a social media post from the department, the 16-year-old is voluntarily missing and was last spotted during fireworks at Trum Field on June 25.
Andrew Singleton is reportedly a familiar face in several Somerville locales, including Foss Park, the Healey basketball courts, Assembly Row, and the Mystic Housing Development. With the alert coming weeks after his last confirmed appearance, local authorities and community members are increasingly concerned about his wellbeing, Authorities have not provided details on why they believe Singleton is voluntarily missing, or whether he has gone missing before.
