
On Saturday, police responded to a reported break-in at a residence on Ericcson St in Worcester. According to the authorities, a security camera caught a man breaking into the vacant home. Officers saw a shattered glass patio door upon reaching the scene, indicating forced entry.
The Worcester Police Department, through a social media post, detailed how Officers were dispatched around 9 AM following the incident. A description of the intruder, provided to dispatch by a witness who viewed the security footage, led to the police to quickly locate a suspect in the area.
The suspect, identified as sixty-one-year-old Thomas Marnalse of Ruthven Ave, matched the description from the security footage. The Worcester Police stated, "Officers developed probable cause that Mr. Marnalse had entered the residence and taken items that did not belong to him." He was then arrested and charged with Breaking and Entering in the Daytime to Commit a Felony, and Larceny from a Building.
