The Boston Police Department reported to NBC Boston that the first incident occurred at approximately 4:06 a.m. at 859 Adams Street, where they discovered one victim with non-life threatening injuries. This victim was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance.
Shortly after, with the night clinging to the final hours before dawn, a second individual, wounded in a separate but potentially related event, sought their own way to a caring facility for medical attention. This second incident was reported less than 40 minutes later, and this individual arrived at a local hospital suffering from injuries similarly classified as non-life threatening.
The scene of the initial shooting in Milton, described by Boston 25 News as a "highly active crime scene," unfolded around 3:51 a.m., in the Wharf Street parking area near the Neponset River. Here, officers encountered a male with an unscheduled appointment with violence, victim to a gunshot wound, and he was quickly transported to a Boston hospital for his injuries.
Both police departments believe these distressing events to be interconnected, with Boston officers providing assistance in the investigation to the Milton Police Department. Despite the subscription to chaos that these incidents represent, no arrests have yet to be made in connection with the shootings.
