Commuters and residents in Orleans Parish should expect traffic delays this week. The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) has announced lane closures on westbound I-10. The left lane, between Bullard Avenue and Michoud Boulevard, will be closed daily from today through Wednesday, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
These closures are part of a pile installation project. According to the official DOTD announcement, all scheduled closures are subject to change based on weather. If inclement weather occurs, construction may be delayed or rescheduled.
