Authorities in Vancouver have taken a 16-year-old boy into custody following a drive-by shooting that occurred on July 11. The incident took place late at night, around 11:40 p.m., in the 6700 block of East Mill Plain Boulevard. When officers arrived, they found a man inside his car suffering from gunshot wounds. The car had been struck multiple times. The victim promptly received medical attention at a local hospital, as reported by KPTV. The youth was apprehended and booked into the Juvenile Detention facility, where he currently awaits further legal proceedings.
While an arrest has been made, the Vancouver police have stressed that their investigation is far from over. They are currently looking to actively identify and apprehend other suspects who may have been involved in the shooting.
