
A homeowner in Wayland, Massachusetts, was assaulted on Friday night after confronting two men in his backyard. The incident happened around 9:43 p.m. when the homeowner went outside to check on a noise. The two men were wearing dark clothing and face masks and demanded money and gold before attacking him, according to WCVB.
Wayland Police responded to a home invasion where suspects armed with handguns entered a house and demanded valuables. The homeowner was found with facial injuries but reported that nothing was stolen. The suspects were last seen fleeing through the front door.
Wayland Police are investigating an assault that sent one person to a local hospital. They believe it was an isolated incident and have not determined if it is connected to other crimes in the area.
