
Webster Police Department in Massachusetts reported a bank robbery that occurred at the Hometown Bank on Gore Road earlier today. At about 8:30 a.m., a white male suspect riding a blue Suzuki GSXR motorcycle made off with an undisclosed sum of money after mentioning a firearm to the bank tellers. According to the Webster Police Department, he fled into Connecticut on Route 395 South, though no gun was seen during the incident.
The response by local law enforcement was swift, with officers being dispatched immediately after the tellers notified the South Worcester County Communication Center. Despite the high-speed chase, the suspect remains at large. In a turn to swiftly apprehend the individual, Webster Police, along with the Worcester field office of the FBI and Connecticut State Police, have combined efforts. "This will be a joint investigation with all relevant agencies," the Webster Police Department stated on their Facebook page.
In a follow-up post, the Webster Police Department has released photos of the suspected bank robber and his motorcycle, which bears a distinctive Superman symbol on the front. The department is asking the public to help identify the suspect.
