Tragedy struck last night at the City Place at Germantown Apartments, where a woman was fatally shot, leading to the detention of two men. According to Action News 5, the incident occurred near Bromden Lane and Scanlon Drive, with deputies arriving at the scene around 10 p.m. Desperate efforts were made to save the woman's life through CPR until medics arrived; however, she was pronounced dead at the location.
The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that two individuals are now in custody in relation to the deadly incident, but the specifics of their involvement have not been released.
