Big news for Apache Junction as the city heralded the inauguration of a substantial corporate presence. WW Clyde, a heavy civil construction company, celebrated the opening of its new Southwest Division Headquarters, as reported by the city's official announcement on July 15, 2025. Located at 1353 S. Vista Rd., the new digs encompass 38,000 square feet, melding office and shop space into a single modern hub for the company's regional endeavors.
The company, which has been part of this Arizona community since its 2020 acquisition of Blount Contracting, is involved in creating and maintaining infrastructure such as highways, pipelines, mines, and solar farms. The mayor of Apache Junction, Chip Wilson, shared with the local community during the ribbon-cutting on June 27, "WW Clyde is one of the leading employers in Apache Junction, and I’m pleased to see their continued investment in our community."
As of now, the headquarters is the workplace for approximately 50 employees, with ambitions to increase this to 75 in the coming years. These employees form a part of the broader WW Clyde workforce, which has over 500 staff members throughout the Phoenix area, all reporting to this location. The current headcount and planned expansion highlight the role WW Clyde is set to play in employment within the local economy.
According to Apache Junction, during the celebration, Dustin Olson, President of WW Clyde, dived into the details, "This new space allows us to better serve our customers and expand our workforce in the Valley," he said. In a display of appreciation for local backing, he added, "We’re grateful for the city’s support and excited to grow here."
